Top edge gilt; deckled fore edge and untrimmed bottom edge. Illustrated. Colored frontispiece caricature of Charles Dickens and William M. Thackeray; retains original tissue guard. A few light scuffs to spine; front hinge just starting, one corner bumped. An especially attractive copy in contemporary leather. Near Fine.
